Here is my page for this week's Creative Craft World Saturday Scrap Map Challenge.
The theme for this week's LO is 'Travel'.
My page shows Isambard Kingdom Brunel's rail bridge over the River Tamar between Plymouth and Saltash - opened in 1859. The road bridge (behind ) was opened in 1961 (50 years ago!) and for a while was one of the longest suspension bridges in the country. Before that the only way to get across the river was by boat!
I took these photos from the train (hence the slight haziness) when I was travelling to Gatwick Airport on route for America for Will and Nick's birthdays. The train journey took ages as it was a Sunday and the rail companies were doing 'essential maintenance'; they kept diverting us onto single tracks and then we had to wait for trains coming in the other direction to pass!! Luckily I was not flying till the next morning but I did have to change my dinner reservation :D
I spritzed with silver Cosmic Shimmer, stamped a few dotty circles and made some photo corners from a foil pie case which I coloured with alcohol inks.
Creative Craft World's Challenge blog is here - have a go :)
